Lehigh News from Principal Morgan

Welcome back to the 2020 - 2021 school year!

Welcome, Lehigh Cubs! I'd like to remind you of a few things regarding the first day of school. The parent drop off gate will not be open until 8:25 am. Please do not arrive early and do not drop your child off outside the gate. The drop off process will move quickly once we open the gate. Thank you for your patience. Also, make sure to label your child's backpack with the tag you received at open house. This will help us identify your child and make sure they get to the correct classroom quickly. For dismissal, the process is very similar. The parent pick up gate will not open until 3:10 pm. There is no need to get to school before that, as the line moves quickly once we get started. Make sure you place your parent pick up tag in the window of your car. If you do not have a tag, you will have to pull to the side, wait, and present your ID before we can release your child. Do not get out of your car. Please remember you must live within walking distance for your child to be considered a walker. All addresses will be verified before we are able to label your child as a walker. Your child's safety is our priority. If your child is walking home, we will not dismiss them until the parent drop off line dwindles. This will help maintain their safety as they will not have to cross between cars. One more reminder, if your child is attending LECP, it will be open beginning Monday morning. Please remember that you may not pick your child up from LECP prior to 4:00 pm due to dismissal procedures.

Unfortunately, this year, we are not able to allow families or visitors on campus. You will not be able to park and walk your child to class. Remember, students are required to wear masks while on campus or on the bus. We are excited to welcome our students back to school on Monday! Have a great evening.
